About

How it all started

Several years ago, I had the idea to launch a women’s ministry that wasn’t connected to one specific house or congregation. A place where women from all around could come and share their gifts and talents. Feeding and encouraging others while receiving the same in return. I wasn’t sure how to go about it but I was excited to get about it.

Our story

What happened next, you ask? Life happened. I got hurt and became discouraged. This caused me to feel like I wasn’t really ‘the one’ or that maybe it was too late. I probably wasn’t really qualified and who would want to join me in this venture anyways?

In the spring of 2022, I felt an urgency to get after it. So, on April 11th I set up my social media accounts and email. Until recently it has sat rather idle, but now it is time to move things along. I would be honored to have you join me on this new adventure.

God uses unexpected things to bring change so often that the method itself is definitely NOT unexpected.

On May 6th I had what is called a “widow maker” heart attack. The ambulance ride was one of the longest trips in a vehicle that I had ever experienced. I truly did not know what the outcome would be but I knew that I did not want to die and didn’t feel like I had completed all that had been placed in my heart to do. I was speechless. All that I could utter was a silent plea to the Father. “Please help.” The Father chose to intervene through the hands of the medical staff that night however, the damage was extensive. Over the weeks I worked with the medical teams to do ‘all the things’ to aid in the strengthening of my heart to ultimately make it work better.

Early on in the journey/process a dear friend shared that she felt impressed that during this time the Father wanted to repair and restore the brokenness of heart emotionally that I had been living with. It resonated and I knew that scripture bore this concept out. I said, “Yes, please let it be so.” The outpouring of love expressed in various ways was like the healing balm of Gilead for my heart and soul. The Father used this to show how loved I was and that my life and the work that He did through it did have an impact on those around me. Please hear my heart here. This isn’t about “Look what I can do” rather “look what God can do.”

So here we are. Launching Geulah Gals ministry.

The Mission

The Mission of Geulah Gals women’s ministry is to aid in the Hastening of the Geulah (Hasten the Redemption) by equipping women to walk in (practice) the calling they were created for by creating a safe environment for them to practice using their gifts and talents. We will accomplish this by walking alongside them offering support and encouragement along the way as we work together to serve the communities around us by meeting the needs of others, as best as we are able.

In so doing, we believe that we can fan the flame of each spark that we encounter to in turn go out and do the same in their communities. Together, one step at a time we hope to aid in Repairing the World (Tikkun Olam) and Hasten the Geulah (Hasten the Redemption).

In Him,
Tina
